What great storytellers can learn from a blob fish đ
Let me explain.
friend!
Just had to share something weird (but helpful).
Ever seen a blob fish?
On land, it looks like a melted candle with eyes.
Underwater, though?
Itâs strong. Balanced. Solid.
Because thatâs where it belongs.
And oddly enough⊠thatâs how most people mess up their content, friend!.
They try to tell stories out of their natural element.
They try to sound like the expert.
The guru.
The one who has it all figured out.
But when you write from the outside in
trying to perform instead of connect
you end up like the blob fish on land: awkward, out of place, misunderstood.
You see,
Your best stories come when youâre in your environment.
Speaking your language.
Saying the quiet thing out loud.
Thatâs when the magic hits.
So if youâve been stuck in your head or editing every post to deathđ ...
Hereâs your reminder:
You donât need to sound smart.
You just need to sound like you.
See you tomorrow,
Stephen!
PS. Summer is coming and Iâm burning up đ„”
