Quick one (it's Christmas🎄 🎅 after all)

In partnership with

Merry Christmas friend, (if you celebrate).

I'm keeping this short because you've got family, food, and probably way too much eggnog waiting for you, or sorrel (if you’re Jamaican).

But I promised I'd help you bridge the gap between engagement and sales...

So here's the simplest solution I've got:

Add ONE sentence to the end of every story you tell.

That's it.

One sentence that answers: "So what does this mean for YOU?"

Example:

WITHOUT the bridge: "Last month, I spent 6 hours crafting what I thought was the perfect story about my first failed launch. Posted it on LinkedIn. Got 150 likes, 40 comments. Felt great. Then I checked my DMs zero inquiries. The next day, I posted a 3-sentence story with ONE data point: 'I sent 1,000 cold emails in my first year. 47 responded. 3 became clients worth $45K. Here's what the subject lines had in common.' That post? 80 likes but 12 DMs asking how I did it." [End of post/email]

WITH the bridge: "Last month, I spent 6 hours crafting what I thought was the perfect story about my first failed launch. 80 likes but 12 DMs asking how I did it. If your stories are getting engagement but no sales conversations, you're probably doing what I did telling stories that make people FEEL something instead of stories that make people DO something. Add one number that ties to revenue, and watch what happens."

Shoppers are adding to cart for the holidays

Over the next year, Roku predicts that 100% of the streaming audience will see ads. For growth marketers in 2026, CTV will remain an important “safe space” as AI creates widespread disruption in the search and social channels. Plus, easier access to self-serve CTV ad buying tools and targeting options will lead to a surge in locally-targeted streaming campaigns.

Read our guide to find out why growth marketers should make sure CTV is part of their 2026 media mix.

See the difference?

One is an interesting insight.

The other makes them check their last post and think: "Shit... I'm doing that wrong right now."

That awareness? That's what leads to sales.

Because people don't buy when they're informed.

They buy when they realize they have a problem AND you have the solution.

Your story (or data) creates the awareness.

That ONE sentence connects it to their revenue.

Try it on your next post.

Then reply and tell me what happens.

Now go eat some pie or Jamaican fruit cake.
