That’s the story that builds trust.

Let me explain.

Most people post for approval.
But connection doesn’t come from polish it comes from truth.

When I finally shared the story of being fired, I almost deleted it ten times.
It wasn’t clever.
It was honest.

And that one story brought me more DMs, subscribers, and opportunities than any “how-to” post I’d written.

Not because it was dramatic.
But because people saw themselves in it.

That’s the power of the Truth Loop my favorite framework for turning fear into fuel.

Here’s how it works 👇

1. The Fear — Name the moment that still makes you pause.
2. The Fall — Describe what actually happened. No edits.
3. The Feeling — What did it teach you about yourself?
4. The Flip — How did that truth change how you show up today?
5. The Fuel — What can your audience take from it?

Now your turn.

Pick one of these and finish the line:

  • “I’ve never told anyone about the time ___.”

  • “I used to believe ___ until ___.”

  • “It all started when ___.”

  • “The moment I realized ___ changed everything.”

Don’t overthink it. Write it fast.
