Hey Friend,

Last weekend, I was teaching my son to ride his bike.

At first, he was all confidence, feet on the pedals, hands gripping tight, ready to roll.

But as soon as I let go, he wobbled. Then crashed.

Cue frustration. Arms crossed. “I can’t do this.”

So, I asked him one simple question:
“Where do you want to go?”

Not “Why did you fall?”
Not “What went wrong?”

Just: Where do you want to go?

His eyes lit up.
He pointed ahead.
And suddenly, he wasn’t thinking about falling, he was thinking about moving forward.

That’s the same mindset shift you need in writing.

When you’re stuck, don’t ask:

  • “Why isn’t this sounding right?”

  • “What if no one likes it?”

Instead, ask:
“What do I want my reader to feel or do?”

Do you want them to:

  • Feel inspired?

  • Take action?

  • Click a link?

  • Share your post?

When you know that, the words flow.

When you don’t? You’re stuck wobbling.

So next time you’re staring at a blank page, ask the question.
Point to where you want to go.
Then write like you’re already there.
