How to Avoid Getting Turned Down for a Date (or a Sale)
Most people are online for one reason.
Friend, Let’s be real.
Most people are online because they want to make money.
But most aren’t.
And with AI pumping out soulless, mass-produced content, making sales is getting even harder.
AI was supposed to make life easier, right?
Sure, if you want to flood the internet with generic posts no one cares about.
But if you actually want people to buy from you?
Storytelling (or better yet, storyselling) is your edge.
And I don’t mean some tragic “my dog died, and now I can’t afford to bury her” kind of story.
I mean stories that actually connect.
Here’s what I mean.
A friend of mine was struggling to sell her cakes.
She posted pictures. Uploaded videos. Even followed TikTok trends.
A few likes. A couple of comments. Zero orders.
So I asked her, “What’s the story behind your brand?”
She looked confused. “What do you mean?”
I said, “Why did you start this?”
Then she lit up.
She told me about her grandma’s recipe. How her grandma made the best cakes. How she wanted others to experience that same joy.
I said, “I’ll take one.”
She laughed. “That’s it?”
Yes. That’s it.
Her story sold me before I even tasted the cake.
Because that’s how people buy.
Not with logic. With EMOTION.

Selling a pen? An ebook? A house? Don’t just post and list the price, build the connection.
Facts tell. Stories sell.
Use them.
