Gold doesn’t go bad

It might get dusty. But its value never changes.

friend!

A few nights ago, I was staring at a Notion Doc with 37 half-written posts.
Not one felt “good enough.”

Until I opened an old Google doc draft titled:
“Why I Quit My Job.”

It wasn’t polished.
But it hit me.
Because that moment?
It still matters.

I’d been broke, burned out, and sitting on the edge of a decision I couldn’t unmake.

That’s the story that flipped everything.
And guess what?
It’s still powerful today.

That’s when I wrote this:

Here are 5 questions I come back to every time I feel stuck:

1. What moment made you start?
Mine? Getting fired while my newborn twins were napping.
That flipped everything.

2. What do you believe that most don’t?
That being vulnerable online can be strategic.
It’s not “too much.” It’s connection.

3. What’s one client win you’re proud of?
A founder sent me a DM:
“Your story helped me triple my launch sales.”
Not a flex, just proof that story sells.

4. What do you really do?
I help people stop ghosting their own story.
That’s it.
I get the truth out of your head and into the market.

5. What belief held you back?
That nobody cared about my story.
Turns out, it was the thing that made them care most.

These aren’t “content prompts.”
They’re trust tools.

Pick one.
Write the post.
Send the email.

Let people feel the gold that’s been sitting in your doc for way too long.

Talk soon,

Stephen
