I almost quit everything last May, friend!

Client work dried up.
Content flopped.
Leads? Dead silent.

I sat on the couch with my laptop,
Googling job remote and regular job boards, wondering if this was all just a phase.

I had bills.
I had a family.
I had dreams that felt stupid that week.

The kind of silence that messes with your self-worth?
That was the week.

I thought:
Maybe it’s time to let this go.
Maybe I’m just not built for this.

And then
I cracked open my notes app, typed what I was afraid to say out loud, and posted it.

It was raw.
Half-formed.
Felt like a risk.

I went to make some ginger tea just to distract myself.
Came back and saw a DM from someone.

“Hey man… this hit me hard.”

That led to a real conversation.
That led to a client.
But more than that
It reminded me people are still listening.

And when your words carry your actual voice the right people hear you.

That’s alignment.

And it reminded me of yesterday’s breakdown on Fenty.

Rihanna didn’t say she was inclusive.
She built the brand like she meant it.

Her message didn’t just sound good it matched the system.

Empathy up front. Excellence underneath.

That’s how you build something people believe in.
